AIIMS New Delhi has postponed the exercise of choices and order of preference process for the CRE 2024 exam till further notice, as certain communications are awaited from participating institutes. 

AIIMS CRE Choice Filling Postponed

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi has postponed the choice-filling process for the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE) 2024 till further notice. The authorities have notified that the AIIMS CRE 2024 exercise of choices process has been postponed under evolving situations where certain communications are awaited from participating institutes/ Hospitals and upcoming CBT on April 17, 2025, for remaining posts as notified by the authorities in subsequent notification. 

"Under evolving situations where certain communications are still awaited from participating Institutes/Hospitals and upcoming CBT on April 17, 2025, for remaining posts as mentioned in notice no. 58/2025 dated 13.03.2025, the exercise of choice and order of preference is postponed until further notice." The official notification reads. 

Further, the authorities have notified that the detailed notice concerning choice and order preference will be communicated to students after completing the CBT examination of the remaining posts of CRE 2024. 

AIIMS CRE 2024 on April 17 for Remaining Posts

Further, AIIMS released the notification to conduct a CBT examination for the remaining group posts of the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE 2024) on the official website. The examination for the group post 13, 16, 28, 43, 45, 55 will be conducted on April 17, 2025.

Students who will be appearing for the examination will be notified about the examination city one week prior to the examination, and details regarding the examination centre and reporting time will be notified in the admit card, which can be downloaded from the candidate's dashboard 3 days before the CBT examination.
