Assam NEET UG 2026 Round 1 reporting has started for candidates allotted MBBS or BDS seats. They must complete document verification and admission formalities at their respective colleges.
Assam NEET Counselling 2026: Directorate of Medical Education (DME) has started round 1 reporting process for Assam NEET UG counselling 2026. Candidates who have been allotted MBBS or BDS seats in round 1 have to report to their respective allotted colleges for document verification and completion of admission formalities.ย
Candidates can complete Assam NEET UG round 1 reporting 2026 online by September 5. Earlier, Assam seat allotment result was announced on September 2, 2026. Those who have received an allotment should check college, course, category and other details mentioned against their name in the allotment result before proceeding for admission.

Directorate of Medical Education has listed Assam application form, HSLC documents, PRC, Class 12 marksheets, NEET admit card and NEET scorecard among documents needed for MBBS/BDS counselling. Those belonging to reserved categories should also carry their applicable certificates.

All other provisionally selected candidates must report to Principals of their respective allotted colleges on September 4 and 5, 2026 to complete admission process. They must bring all required original documents, annexures and admission and counselling fees of approximately INR 25,000. They will also have to submit the original admit cards, marksheets and pass certificates of HSLC and HSSLC or equivalent examinations, caste certificates and other documents required under MBBS/BDS Admission Rules.ย
Admission will also depend on candidate being found medically fit. They must also sign and submit prescribed admission agreement to Principal of their respective college within 15 days of admission. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official DME Assam website for further updates and notices.
