Bihar UGMAC 2025 counselling process has been postponed owing to various petitions filed by private medical colleges against the departmental order. Meanwhile, the Bihar NEET UG 2025 revised counselling dates will be announced soon at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
Bihar NEET Counselling 2025 Postponed: The Bihar Combined Entrance Board has postponed the Bihar NEET UG counselling process 2025 till further notice. The authorities have announced that the Bihar UGMAC-2025 registration and choice-filling process 2025, which began for admissions to government medical colleges and 50% of seats in private medical colleges, has been put on hold as per the Patna High Court order. The decision follows a Health Department order dated July 29, 2025, which was challenged by several private medical colleges in the Patna High Court. Going further, on August 5, 2025, the High Court issued a stay on the order.
Bihar NEET UG Counselling Dates 2025 Postponed
The board has notified that they are expecting further instructions from the Health Department. Until then, all Bihar UGMAC-2025 activities are postponed. Updates will be shared on the Board’s official website and in newspapers, so candidates and institutions are advised to check regularly the official website, i.e. bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.

Bihar NEET UGMAC counselling fee for General and Extremely Backward Class (EBC)/Backward Class (BC) category is INR 1,200. The fee amount for SC/ST category is INR 600. Candidates must note the application fee is non-refundable even if the application gets rejected due to any reason.
September 18 was the deadline for choice filling for round-2 Bihar NEET 2025 counselling. Candidates have to edit choices online. Seat allotment result for Bihar NEET 2025 counselling round-2 was declared based on declared choices, NEET 2025 rank and other factors on September 22.
Revised seat allotment result date for round-3 Bihar NEET 2025 counselling will be announced by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCEECEB) soon. The seat allotment result will be uploaded online in PDF format. Candidates allotted seats in round-3 will have to report to respective allotted institute for document verification.
BCECEB will announce the Bihar NEET Counselling 2025 dates and schedule soon at the official website. Students will be able to check the registration dates, choice filling dates, seat allotment dates and admission last dates for each round from the official website. Students who have qualified the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) exam and are aiming for admission under 85% of state quota MBBS, BDS seats across Bihar state can apply for the counselling process.
