CENTAC Puducherry NEET Counselling 2025

The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Puducherry, has released an official notification for PwD candidates who applied to CENTAC for admission to UG NEET courses for session 2025-26. Students who are seeking admission to M.B.B.S., B.D.S., B.A.M.S. (Ayurveda) & B.V.Sc. & A.H. (Veterinary – National-SS & NRI seats only) in Puducherry and belonging to PwD category have to undergo a physical examination. In order to participate in the physical examination, students have to appear before the Medical Board for Physical Examination to verify/ obtain a valid disability certificate/ permanent certificate, as per the applicability. 

"Candidates of U.T. of Puducherry who have applied under PwD Quota for admission to UG NEET courses through CENTAC for the Academic Year 2025-2026, are directed to appear before the Medical Board for Physical Examination to verify/ obtain a Valid Disability Certificate / Permanent Certificate." The official notification reads. 

Documents Required for Physical Counselling 

Candidates should bring the following along with them during the physical counselling process of CENTAC Puducherry NEET MBBS counselling 2025:
1. Three passport-size photographs
2. Xerox copy of Aadhaar card
3. Copy of the Application Form
4. Previous PwD Certificate, if any.

Q:   What is the mode of the CENTAC NEET UG counselling?
A: 

The CENTAC NEET UG counselling process is conducted in online mode only. Candidates will have to register and fill choices in online mode. The counselling authorities will also release the seat allotment result in online mode. However, the last round of the counselling, which is the institute reporting, or the document verification, will be conducted in offline mode. Candidates will have to be physically present at the allotted institutes, or the venue specified by the counselling authority and get their documents verified and complete the admission formalities. 

Q:   When did CENTAC conduct the NEET counselling process 2025?
A: 

The CENTAC NEET counselling 2025 process began on July 5, 2025, with the registration process. The last date of registration was extended from July 14, 2025, to July 16, 2025. The CENTAC released a draft merit list consisting the names of the eligible candidates on July 25, 2025. The entire CENTAC MBBS admission process was held in around five months. 

The authorities will conduct the physical examination for PwD candidates on July 22, 2025, from 8 AM to 10:30 AM at RMO - Indira Gandhi Government General Hospital and Post Graduate Institute (IGGH & PGI), Puducherry. The physical examination is an important step in order to be considered under the PwD category for admission to UG medical, AYUSH, Dental and Veterinary courses in Puducherry.
