MP medical college fee hike

Medical education in Madhya Pradesh is going to be costlier this year, with private medical colleges increasing their fees significantly. The annual MBBS fees in Madhya Pradesh have been raised by 10 percent. Meanwhile, there is an 8% increase in MP BDS fees 2026 for this academic session. The Directorate of Medical Education has released the MP medical college fee structure for private colleges. This change applies to the current academic year for MBBS and BDS admissions.

MP Medical College Fee Rose to INR 18 Lakh

Last year, the annual fee in MP private medical colleges was lower. It was around Rs 16.50 lakh, but now the fee is around Rs 18.08 lakh. Students will pay Rs 1.58 lakh extra every year. As per the new structure, the new fee includes Rs 25,000 as caution money.

MP Government Medical College Fees Remain Unchanged

While private college fees have been significantly increased, MP Government medical college fees have not changed. Madhya Pradesh has 20 government medical colleges. The annual fee there is Rs 1.14 lakh. The government fee includes a tuition fee of INR 1 lakh. The remaining Rs 14,000 is for caution money.ย Students with high NEET scores will be able to save a big amount of money on their education.ย 

Meanwhile, the BDS fee has increased by 8 percent and the NRI quota seats will also be expensive this year. The fee for NRI quota seats range between INR 33.9 lakh to 53.5 lakh for one year.ย
