The choice filling process for the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling 2024 Round 2 has started on December 19, 2024. The last date to fill and lock choices is December 21, 2024. The CET Cell Maharashtra has released the seat matrix and virtual vacancy list for the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling 2024 Round 2.
There are 1,760 seats in this round. Candidates willing to participate in the Round 2 of the Maharashtra NEET PG 2024 counselling, should refer to the seat matrix and fill the choices. There is no limit to submitting choices for Maharashtra NEET PG 2024 counselling.

How to Fill Choices for Maharashtra NEET PG Counselling 2024 Round 2
Candidates have to follow the steps given below to fill choices for the Maharashtra NEET PG Counselling.
- Visit the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling 2024 website – cetcell.mahacet.org or click on the direct link - https://medical2024.mahacet.org/NEET-PGM-2024/login
- Login using Mobile Number or Email ID and Password
- Click on the Choice Filling tab
- Enter the choices in preferential order
- Submit the choices after locking the preferential order
The Maharashtra NEET PG counselling 2024 Round 2 seat allotment result will be declared on December 23, 2024. The institute reporting and admission process will be conducted from December 24 to December 28, 2024.

The Maharashtra NEET PG counselling process is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra. The state counselling authority for Maharashtra conducts the admission process for postgraduate medical and dental courses offered in the state under the 50 per cent State Quota seats. Candidates who qualify for the NEET PG and NEET MDS exams are eligible to participate in this state counselling. Maharashtra NEET PG counselling is the gateway to admission to courses such as MD, MS and MDS.
As per the last year's data, there were as many as 4,784 MD, MS, and PG Diploma seats across medical and dental colleges in Maharashtra. The course-wise segregation of seats will be available once the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra releases the seat matrix for the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling.

In general, the registration window for Maharashtra NEET PG counselling lasts for four to five days. Based on student requests and other external factors, CET Cell Maharashtra may extend the last date of registration.
