Maharashtra NEET PG Counselling 2024 Stray Vacancy Round Admission Process Ends Today
Maharashtra NEET PG 2024 admission last date for online stray vacancy round has been extended owing to the NBE notice of reduction in NEET PG minimum qualifying percentile for all candidates.
The CET Cell will conclude the Maharashtra NEET PG 2024 admission process for stray vacancy round today i.e. February 28, 2025. Students will be able to complete the admission formalities for the stray vacancy round admission process by 5:30 PM. However, only those candidates who have been allotted a seat in Maharasthra NEET PG 2024 stray vacancy round counselling are eligible for the admission process.
The Maharashtra NEET PG 2024 admission process has been extended owing to MCC's notice to reduce the NEET PG 2024 qualifying cutoff for all category students. As per the MCC latest notification, candidates with an NEET PG percentile over and above 5 percentile will be eligible to appear in the counselling process for admission to PG medical courses across India.
"As per the official notice, NBE has reduced the Minimum Qualifying percentile for NEET PG-2024. In view of this, the last date to join seats allotted in Online Stray Vacancy Round-1 is extended up to 05.30 pm on 28/02/2025." The official notification reads.
Maharashtra NEET PG 2024 Fresh Counselling Schedule Soon
The authorities have announced that the Maharashtra NEET PG 2024 subsequent round counselling schedule will be announced shortly on the official website. Students who are eligible for the NEET PG counselling process after a reduction in the cutoff percentile will be able to apply for the counselling process based on NEET PG scores for admission to PG medical admission in Maharasthra state.

Yes, Maharashtra NEET PG candidates will have to visit the allotted institute with the requisite documents and admission fee. The institutes' admission authorities will verify the documents and once candidates pay the admission fee, the admission offer will be confirmed. In case candidates wish to upgrade their seats or do not wish to join the institute need not report to the institute.
The Maha CET Cell will announce the Maharashtra NEET PG 2025 counselling schedule tentatively by the fourth week of September 2025 for Round 1. The NEET PG 2025 exam was conducted on August 3, and the result was declared on August 19. Accordingly, the counselling process began in the fourth week of September 2025. The counselling authority will announce the schedule separately for each round.

As per the last year's data, there were as many as 4,784 MD, MS, and PG Diploma seats across medical and dental colleges in Maharashtra. The course-wise segregation of seats will be available once the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra releases the seat matrix for the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling.
