The National Testing Agency (NTA) has warned students and parents against the fake or AI-generated OMR sheets while filing complaints regarding NEET 2026 score discrepancies. While issuing the strong advisory, the NTA has clearly asked test takers to submit only original NEET OMR sheets 2026. The submission of fake OMR response sheets may invite legal action. The NTA NEET advisory came after the agency scrutinised the complaints regarding the NEET score mismatch and found many of the OMR sheets fake or AI-generated.
After the announcement of NEET result 2026, many candidates claimed that their actual scores are different from the ones calculated using the OMR sheet. Some even shared the scanned OMR sheet images and recorded responses on social media platforms.

The NTA announced the NEET results on July 16, 2026. A total of 11.21 lakh candidates have qualifed the exam. This year, two candidates obtained the highest marks in NEET 2026, 715 out of 720, These two NEET AIR 1 and 2 are Aryan Gupta and Panshul Bansal, respectively.
