NEET MDS Counselling 2025: MCC Opens Seat Resignation Window for Round 1 Allottees; Know Guidelines

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the seat resignation dates for Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) counselling for session 2025-26. Students who have been allotted a seat under round 1 MCC NEET MDS counselling 2025 and wish to vacate their allotted seat shall complete the seat resignation process to ensure non forfeiture of the security deposit. This means that students who will complete the MCC NEET MDS 2025 counselling seat resignation process before the deadline will be able to get their security deposit amount returned.
The NEET MDS round 1 seat resignation dates 2025 have been announced on the official website. The authorities have decided to allow Resignation without forfeiture of the security deposit for round 1 till July 11, 2025. Students will be able to complete the NEET MDS seat resignation process 2025 before 5 PM. Meanwhile, students should take note of certain guidelines for seat resignation, as provided below:
- The students will have to physically visit the allotted college to resign their allotted seat.
- Candidates are recommended to ensure that their NEET MDS seat resignation letter is generated online (through the portal provided by MCC) by the allotted college.
NEET MDS Counselling 2025: Round 2 Registrations from July 12
MCC will begin the NEET MDS 2025 round 2 registration process for admission to PG dental seats across India from July 12, 2025. Students will be able to register online till July 15, 2025. Meanwhile, the choice filling and locking process for round 2 NEET MDS counselling 2025 will be ongoing between July 13 to 16, 2025. Students will be able to fill add their desired college during the NEET MDS counselling 2025 choice filling and locking process.

NEET MDS counselling 2025 is being conducted online. Candidates participating in the counselling of NEET MDS 2025 have to register on the official website of MCC to attend it. Candidates qualifying for NEET MDS 2025 with the minimum cut off is one of the eligibility criteria to participate in the counselling rounds. The counselling process for NEET MDS 2025 began on June 24, 2025, and will be conducted till September 8, 2025. Registered candidates can exercise choices for college and course for NEET MDS 2025 seat allotment. MCC will release the seat allotment result based on choices declared, availability of seats in college and course, reservation factor, etc.
Candidates filling the registration form of NEET MDS 2025 counselling are required to keep their application form and admit card handy. These details will have to be filled in the registration form as well. Candidates are advised to read the information brochure for NEET MDS counselling carefully before registering online. Candidates will have to register on the official website, mcc.nic.in and declare their choice for college and course for NEET MDS 2025 counselling. The counselling dates have been released on June 20, 2025. The entire NEET MDS counselling 2025 is scheduled from June 24 to August 30, 2025.
