NEET PG 2025 Cutoff Drop Across Categories; MCC Counselling Schedule Soon @mcc.nic.in

NEET PG 2025 cutoff for general, OBC, ST, and SC categories has highlighted a dip in comparison to the year 2023 cutoff. With a decline in NEET PG cutoff 2025, more students are expected to participate in the MCC NEET PG 2025 counselling process for admission to the MD, MS programme.
NEET PG 2025 Cutoff: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the NEET PG cutoff 2025 along with the results. The authorities have announced the cutoff for NEET PG 2025 for all categories, including general, SC, ST, OBC and PwD categories. As per the result statistics, the NEET PG 2025 cutoff has shown a dip across all categories in comparison to the 2023 cutoff.
In NEET PG 2025, a total of 2,42,493 candidates registered for the exam. Out of these, 2,30,114 appeared, and 1,28,116 qualified for the counselling round. The results were declared prior to the scheduled date, and the scorecards will be made available for download on the official website, natboard.edu.in, from August 29, 2025, onwards.

The authorities conducted the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test -postgraduate (NEET PG 2025) exam on August 3, 2025, across the country as a computer-based test in a single shift. Students who have qualified the examination will now have to appear for the counselling process for admission to MD, MS, DNB, DrNB (Direct 6 Years) and postgraduate diploma courses for the 2025-26 academic session.
MCC NEET PG Counselling 2025 Dates Soon
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will announce the NEET PG counselling dates 2025 schedule soon at the official website mcc.nic.in. Students who have qualified the NEET PG 2025 exam and are seeking admission to 50% All India Quota (AIQ) PG medical courses seats, i.e. MD, MS and PD Diploma courses across India, along with 100% deemed/central universities, ESIC, Central universities and AFMS seats, have to appear for the counselling process.
The MCC is likely to conduct the NEET PG counselling 2025 in four rounds, i.e. three rounds of counselling along with an online stray vacancy round for the remaining vacant seats. MCC will announce the NEET PG counselling schedule 2025 soon, including the registration dates, choice filling dates, seat allotment dates and admission last date at the website.

Yes. MCC will conduct NEET PG counselling for allocation of 50% Al India quota seats. Respective state authorities will conduct counselling for rest 50% seats. Candidates will have to register online and declare choice of college and course for seat allocation. A total of 4 rounds of counselling is held for allotment of seats. Seat allotment result is released separately for each round of counselling.
