The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has reduced the qualifying percentile for the NEET PG 2025. The NEET PG 2025 cutoff for SC, ST, and OBC candidates has been lowered to zero percentile, allowing candidates with scores as low as -40 out of 800 to be eligible for NEET PG 2025 round 3 counselling process.Â
Meanwhile, the general category cutoff has been lowered to 7th percentile. General category students with 103 scores in NEET PG 2025 exam are now eligible to appear for the counselling process. The decision for NEET PG 2025 cutoff reduction has been made to fill over 18,000 vacant PG medical seats after the round 2 counselling process.Â

The Federation of Resident Doctors’ Association (FORDA) has criticised NBE’s decision of NEET PG 2025 cutoff reduction.
