With the Supreme Court tightening the transparency framework around NEET PG exam and results, an early declaration of results would be a welcome relief for thousands of medical aspirants anxiously awaiting their next step in postgraduate admissions.

Speculation over the NEET PG 2025 result date has gained momentum, with sources indicating the results may be declared tomorrow. The buzz intensified after RTI activist Dr Vivek Pandey, who has been consistently raising issues related to medical education, posted on X (formerly Twitter) that the declaration could be imminent.

He noted that the Supreme Court has already directed reforms to ensure transparency in the examination process.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has not yet issued an official confirmation. As per the previously announced schedule, results were expected by September 3, 2025.

Supreme Court’s Directions on NEET PG

The Supreme Court recently directed NBEMS to conduct the NEET PG exam in a single shift, release raw scores and answer keys, and impose penalties for seat-blocking during counselling. These measures aim to ensure transparency, fairness, and credibility in the postgraduate medical admission process.

NEET PG 2025 Exam & Result Details

The NEET PG 2025 exam was held on August 3 across centres nationwide in a single shift. Once declared, the results will be available on the official websites — natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in. Candidates will need to log in with their user ID and password to download the scorecard.

  • The qualifying percentiles for NEET PG 2025 remain unchanged:
  • General/EWS candidates: 50th percentile
  • SC/ST/OBC (including PwD in these categories): 40th percentile
  • UR-PwD candidates: 45th percentile
  • The NEET PG scorecards will remain accessible online for a period of six months from the date of declaration.

What NEET PG 2025 Aspirants Should Do

While social media updates have sparked fresh anticipation, experts advise candidates to rely only on the official announcements from the NBEMS. Students should keep checking the NBEMS portals and access it once the link to download scorecards goes live.
