NEET PG 2026 Latest News: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released an important advisory for NEET PG 2026 aspirants. Those who are planning to apply for the exam must read the NEET PG 2026 guidelines PDF carefully before filling out their application forms. The NBEMS NEET PG 2026 information bulletin is now available on the official website, natboard.edu.in. NBEMS warns candidates not to submit their application forms in a hurry. Meanwhile, NBEMS has already announcedΒ NEET PG 2026 exam date is August 30, 2026.Β
NEET PG 2026 Registration Begins
NBE has started the NEET PG 2026 registration process. Interested and eligible students can fill NEET PG application form 2026 till July 21, 2026. The application window will remain open till 11:55 PM.
NEET PG 2026: New Test City Allocation Rules Introduced
For NEET PG 2026, test city allocation will not happen on a first-come, first-served basis. This means submitting the application form early does not give any special advantage in test state or city allotment. Candidates must select three preferred test states during NEET PG 2026 registration process.Β The first preference must be in the state mentioned in the application form of NEET PG 2026. The other two choices must be from neighbouring states.

NBEMS NEET PG 2026 Guidelines: Strict Image Guidelines & Fraud Warning
Applicants have to upload a recent photograph that is not older than three months. The signature and other images should follow guidelines strictly. Forms with unclear or edited images will be rejected.Β
Furthermore, the board will not allow editing after final submission. Candidates must enter their category, date of birth, and contact details with care. NBEMS also warned students not to share application details with unauthorised people. Students should also keep their registered mobile number and email ID active throughout the process.

Mandatory Aadhaar Authentication and Biometric Rules
NBEMS is introducing Aadhaar-based authentication and verification for NEET PG 2026. Candidates must fill in their Aadhaar number accurately in the application form. For the exam day, candidates must not apply henna, colour, ink, or paint on their fingers or palms as it will create trouble during the biometric verification. Candidates can submit any of the following as their valid proof:Β

Objective questions are asked in NEET PG exam. tpe of the question is multiple choice where one question can have multiple answers. keeping this in mind, candidates have to select best option of correct response.
Yes. Mark is deducted for each wrong answer in NEET PG. For each right answer, candidates get 4 marks and for each wrong answer, 1 mark is deducted. As there is provision of the negative marking in exam, students are advised to answer only those questions where they feel confidence of right answer.
Formet refers to exam pattern. NEET PG exam is held in computer-based mode. A total of 200 multiple choice questions is asked in exam. As per official brochure, exam duration is 3.5 hours. Candidates get 4 marks for right answer and -1 for wrong response. As there is a negative marking in NEET PG exam, students should attempt only those questions where they feel confidence of right answers.
