The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released a notification regarding the NEET SS 2025 cutoff reduced update. The board has lowered the minimum NEET SS qualifying percentile for the exam following the Supreme Court's order. According to the official notice published on the official web portal at NBEMS Natboard Portal, the eligibility percentile has been slashed to the 30th percentile from the earlier 50th percentile.

This decision comes directly after a Ministry of Health and Family Welfare letter citing a landmark Supreme Court order. All candidates who have scored equal to or above the 30th percentile in their super speciality exam results are now declared qualified to participate in the counselling process. The updated list of qualified candidates has already been sent to the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) to allow them to participate in the upcoming admissions rounds, the official notification mentions.
