NEET UG 2026 registration date, along with the complete exam schedule, will be announced soon by NTA. Students can check the NEET UG exam date 2026 along with other important dates and updates at neet.nta.nic.in.
The National Testing Agency will announce the NEET UG 2026 registration date soon. Students who are willing to appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate (NEET-UG) will be able to fill online application form. This national-level entrance exam will be conducted for admission to MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing and AYUSH UG courses.
Students will be able to fill NEET UG 2026 application form online from the NTA NEET official website. However, only eligible candidates will be able to fill the online application form. Hence, before the NEET 2026 form is released, students must ensure that they are eligible to appear in the examination.
NTA will release the NEET 2026 application form along with the notification. Students will be able to check the eligibility criteria, application fees, important dates and other exam-related updates.

As per the reports, NTA is expected to introduce mandatory live photo capture and facial biometric confirmation during the NEET UG 2026 registration process.

The NEET 2026 registration process will start soon. The last date to complete the registration process will be a month after the commencement. Registration is the first step of application wherein candidates have to enter the basic details, validate the OTP and create password. In the NEET application process, candidates have to login with their credentials and then fill up the form, upload documents and pay the application fee of NEET 2026.
In general, the NEET application form is released two to three months prior to the exam date. Hence, if the exam is scheduled for the first week of May, the application form is released in February. The last date to submit the application form is generally a month after the release of the registration link. Last year, the NEET 2025 exam was held on May 4, 2024, and the application process started on February 7, 2025. In 2024, the NEET exam was held on May 5, 2024, and the application process began on February 9, 2024.

According to NTA, 22,76,069 candidates registered for NEET 2025, out of which 22,09,318 candidates appeared for the exam. Out of this, 9,65,996 candidates were male and 13,10,062 candidates were female. The number has reduced as compared to last year.
