The last date to apply for NEET UG registration is March 8, 2026. Students interested in applying for the NEET UG examination must apply by the deadline. The NEET 2026 is all set to be held on  May 3, 2026.

NEET UG Registration 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the registration for NEET UG exam. Those who wants admission into medical colleges in the MBBS, BDS, Dental, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS and BHMS courses must register on the official website.

Students are advised to apply before deadline to avoid any technical glitches during last minutes. The last date to apply for the NEET UG examination is March 8, 2026, by 9:00 pm. Students must apply on the official website - neet.nta.nic.in.

How to Apply for NEET 2026

See below the steps to apply for the NEET examination:

  • Visit the official website neet.nta.nic.in.
  • On homepage, click on the registration tab.
  • Read the instructions carefully and click on agree button.
  • Students need to enter the details and generate a password.
  • Enter the OTP to verify the details.
  • Log in with the registration details.
  • Fill the application form.
  • Upload the required documents.
  • Pay the registration fees.
  • Submit and save the page.

NEET 2026: More Details

NEET will be held on May 3, 2026 from 2 to 5 pm. The three subjects from which questions will be framed are Physics, Chemistry and Biology.. The exam will be held in pen and paper mode for three hours duration. NEET is conducted in the following 13 languages - Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

The application fee for the General category candidates is INR 1,700, for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Other Backwards Classes–Non Creamy Layer, it is INR 1,600 and for SC, ST, third gender and PwBD categories, it is INR 1000. Candidates outside India needs to pay INR 9,500.
