NEET UG Counselling 2026: MCC Issues Notice for Verification of OCI/NRI Candidates to Determine Eligibility

MCC has issued notice for NRI/ OCI candidates participating in NEET UG Counselling 2026 to answer yes against 'Whether you want to apply for NRI Quota seats' question on registration form. NRI/ OCI candidates need to get their credentials verified by the MCC team.

MCC NEET UG Counselling 2026 Notice for NRI/ OCI Candidates

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued notice for Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) and NRI candidates willing to participate in the NEET UG Counselling 2026 for admission to MBBS, BDS and other courses. The NRI and OCI candidates need to first get their credentials verified by the MCC's NRI Document Verification Team to determine their eligibility under the NRI category, wherever applicable for MCC NEET Counselling 2026.

Such verified NRI and OCI candidates can view the NRI seats and Indian Unreserved (UR) seats during the MCC NEET choice filling 2026 process after proper verification of their documents and eligibility confirmation. These candidates can exercise their choices based on their preferences. 

How can NRI Candidates get their Eligibility Verified for MCC NEET UG Counselling 2026?

NRI/ OCI candidates need to answer ‘YES’ for the question ‘Whether you want to apply for NRI Quota seats’ while taking the MCC NEET Counselling registration 2026. Upon answering yes, OCI and NRI candidates will have to undergo document verification process.

MCC NEET Choice Filling 2026 Dates

The MCC has postponed the NEET UG choice filling 2026 dates for round 1 counselling. The choice filling window will now open on August 8, 2026.
