NMC Seat Matrix 2026-27 for MD, MS: National Medical Commission has released the MD, MS seat matrix 2026-27. This NMC MD MS seat matrix 2026 has been released following the decisions of the Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB), National Medical Commission (NMC), the 1st Appeal Committee of NMC and the 2nd Appeal Committee of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW). However, this NMC seat matrix for NEET PG 2026 does not include the seats in respect of applications received for an increase in intake of existing PG courses or for the commencement of new PG courses for the Academic Year 2026–27.

NMC Issues Notice to States & Counselling Committees
NMC has addressed all medical colleges along with states and the counselling committee, highlighting that admission shall be made only to the approved number of seats in the NMC seat matrix 2026 for MD & MS courses. Any admission made in excess of the approved intake capacity shall not be considered as valid. Further, the board has mentioned that all counselling bodies must carefully examine the published Seat Matrix. Any discrepancy, error, omission, or inconsistency noticed therein shall be immediately addressed to the MARB.
