The mop-up round result of Punjab NEET UG 2022 was expected to be out on December 14, but now it has been kept on hold till further notice.

Punjab NEET UG 2022 mop-up round result is on hold till further notice

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has notified that the Punjab NEET UG 2022 mop-up round result for MBBS and BDS admissions which was scheduled to be out on December 14, has been kept on hold till further notice.

The official notification reads, "This is for the information of NEET UG 2022 aspirants that keeping in view of the orders of Hon’ble Punjab & Haryana Court in CWP No. 24730 of 2022 and another connected case the result of the Mop-up round for admission to MBBS/BDS courses under NEET UG 2022 which is scheduled to be declared today i.e. 14-12-2022 is kept on hold till further orders."

Once the seat allotment result for the mop-up round is declared, the selected candidates need to report to the allocated institute for verification of their documents and admission formalities. The documents required are - Certificate of Class 10/birth certificate (as proof of age), a mark sheet of Class 11 (as proof that the candidate had studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English), a mark sheet of Class 12 (verification of eligibility), Punjab resident certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), exemption certificate (if applicable), EWS certificate (if applicable), the certificate issued by the head of the institution certifying that the candidate has completed Class 10 and Class 12 from their institute, sworn declaration by the parent, sworn declaration by the candidate, and affidavit by the parent/guardian stating that the candidate has not applied for the counselling of any other state(s).

The provisional merit list for the mop-up round was released on December 11, and on December 12, BFUHS announced that the provisional merit list of the Punjab NEET UG-2022 mop-round will be the final one as the objections do not affect the list.

"The provisional merit list of NEET UG-2022 aspirants who have participated in the MopUp Round of Online Counseling for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses under NEET UG-2022 was published on 11.12.2022 on the University website is final as the objections received upto 12.12.2022(02:00 PM) do not affect the list," added BFUHS statement.
