Punjab NEET UG Counselling 2026: BFUHS Debars 25 Candidates, Check Reporting Deadline
BFUHS Faridkot has debarred 25 candidates from Punjab MBBS and BDS admissions for violating state quota rules. The authority released the Punjab NEET debarred candidates list 2026 alongside the round 1 allotment result on bfuhs.ggsmch.org. Shortlisted students now have to report to their assigned medical colleges by September 5, 2026.
The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, has made an important update in the ongoing Punjab NEET Counselling 2026. The university has debarred 25 candidates from the medical admission process for MBBS, BDS admissions. These candidates can no longer claim seats under the 85% Punjab state quota for the academic session 2026-27.
According to officials, these students violated strict admission rules. They applied for state quota seats in Punjab while simultaneously applying for counselling in other states for admissions. This action is a direct violation of the residency and state quota guidelines set for Punjab MBBS and BDS admissions. Punjab NEET UG Counselling 2026: Round 1 Reporting Dates

Candidates qualified for NEET will have to register online to submit an application form for Punjab MBBS admission. Check the steps given below to submit the application form:
- Go to the official website of bfuhs.ac.in
- Register using mobile number and email ID
- Enter details such as name, father’s name, preference of course, college, category, quota, NEET 2024 marks, etc.
- Complete the application form
- Note down the registration ID and password for future reference
Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) released Punjab NEET 2025 counselling round-2 seat allotment result on September 17, 2025. The seat allotment result PDF was uploaded online in PDF format. Candidates have to pay fees and complete the other formalities after seat allotment. Choices for round-2 had to be declared from September 9 till September 12, 2025.
A total of 3 rounds of Punjab NEET counselling including mop up round will be held for seat allotment in postgraduate medical courses. The counselling will be held for allotment of 50% state quoa seats. Candidates will have to qualify NEET PG with the minimum cut off to participate in Punjab NEET counselling. Online registration is compulsory to become eligible for seat allotment
BFUHS has released the Punjab NEET UG counselling round 1 result. The final seat allotment list is available in PDF format on bfuhs.ggsmch.org. More than 2,000 MBBS seats have been allocated. Candidates who secured a seat must download their official seat allotment letter. They can access this letter by logging into the student portal. Shortlisted students need to complete their admission formalities before September 5, 2026. Students must physically report to their allocated medical or dental college and bring all original educational and identity documents.
