Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2026 Dates Live Updates: The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) Tamil Nadu, will soon release the schedule for merit list, choice filling and seat allotment of TN Medical counselling 2026. The schedule will be updated here once announced by the official authority.
Currently, the facility to upload PwD certificate is active for candidates who have registered for Tamil Nadu Medical Counelling 2026 under persons with benchmark disability quota. All such candidates have to upload the certificate by August 8, 2026. Also, candidates must ensure that the certificate is issued by the designated medical institute only.
Once the TN MBBS merit list 2026 is declared, candidates can check their rank. Subsequently, candidates will have to fill choices of colleges during choice filling process.

Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2026 Counselling Process
The Counselling process consists of several stages:
- Online Registration on the official counselling website
- Application Submission along with required documents
- Publication of Merit List/Rank List based on NEET UG 2026 scores
- Choice Filling and Locking of preferred colleges and courses
- Seat Allotment according to merit rank, reservation rules, and candidate preferences
- Document Verification and Reporting at the allotted institution
- Subsequent Rounds including Round 2, Round 3, and Mop-Up rounds for vacant seats
Merit List and Seat Allotment
The selection committee will release category-wise merit lists, including Government Quota, Management Quota, and the special 7.5% reservation category for eligible government school students. Seat allotment is carried out strictly on the basis of NEET rank, reservation norms, and choices submitted by candidates.
