Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling 2026: Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Chennai, has released tentative round 2 counselling schedule for Tamil Nadu NEET UG counselling 2026 for admission to MBBS and BDS courses. As per schedule, Tamil Nadu NEET UG round 2 registration and payment window began today on September 7, 2026. Eligible candidates can complete Tamil Nadu NEET registration 2026 until September 8 at 5 PM.Â
Candidates who have already registered for Round 1 generally do not need to register again, subject to the conditions specified by Selection Committee. Tamil Nadu NEET counselling round 2 process covers seats in Tamil Nadu government medical and dental colleges, ESIC Medical College, K.K. Nagar, Chennai, as well as government and management quota seats, including NRI seats, in self-financing medical and dental colleges, Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, state private universities and seats for wards of IRT candidates.

Tamil Nadu Round 2 process will be conducted for candidates within notified rank and NEET score ranges. For the Government Quota (GQ), the schedule mentions General Rank GR 001 to GR 35,926, with NEET scores ranging from 705 to 177. For the Management Quota (MQ), the applicable General Rank range is GR 001 to GR 26,956, with NEET scores from 693 to 177.
