UP NEET UG Counselling 2026: DGME Issues Important Guidelines; Check Security Money & Free Exit Rule
UP NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1 guidelines have been released by DGME Uttar Pradesh. Check the registration process, counselling fee, security deposit, required documents, reservation rules, and free exit policy before participating in the admission process.
The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training has issued important guidelines for candidates participating in the first round of UP NEET UG Counselling 2026. Eligible candidates who have qualified the NEET UG 2026 exam have to complete online registration at upneet.gov.in. The counselling process will be conducted for MBBS and BDS course admissions.
The DME UP has advised candidates to carefully complete registration, upload the required documents, deposit the registration fee and security money, and follow all reservation guidelines before starting UP NEET UG 2026 web option entry.
UP NEET UG Counselling 2026 Registration Guidelines
Candidates have to register online using their own mobile number and email ID, as all communication will be done only through these email IDs and mobile numbers. To complete registration, candidates will have to:
- Register on upneet.gov.in
- Pay a non-refundable registration fee of INR 2,000
- Select a nodal centre for online document verification
- Upload all required documents for UP NEET counselling
- Deposit the security fee before choice filling
UP NEET UG 2026 Security Deposit
Candidates must pay the security money online before choice filling:

| Government Medical/Dental Colleges | INR 30,000 |
| Private Medical Colleges | INR 2,00,000 |
| Private Dental Colleges | INR 1,00,000 |
Candidates selecting both government and private medical counselling must deposit INR 2 lakh. On the other hand, those participating in counselling for both government and private dental colleges must deposit INR 1 lakh as a security deposit.
