NEET 2022 Answer Key and OMR Sheets to be Out Today After 7 PM

NEET 2022 Official Answer Key Release Date and Time

NEET official answer key 2022 along with the OMR sheets or recorded responses will be released today, August 31, after 7 pm. Although the original date to release the NEET 2022 answer keys was August 31, it was delayed and NTA has announced in the early hours of August 31 that the NEET answer keys as well as OMR sheets will be available by 12.15 pm today. However, even after five hours of the slated timing, NTA did not release the answer keys but announced that the NEET answer keys 2022 and OMR sheets will be out after 7 pm.

Giving an explanation for the unwarranted delay, NTA has stated, “Uploading of data of 18 lakh candidates will take some more time. Hence, display of OMR Answer Sheet, Recorded Responses, and Provisional Answer Key will become available only by 12.15 P.M. today.”

Later on, NTA revised the notification as, “Uploading of data of 18 lakh candidates will take some more time. Hence, display of OMR Answer Sheet, Recorded Responses, and Provisional Answer Key will become available after P.M. today.” View the screenshot below.

Yesterday, the NEET 2022 candidates and other stakeholders waited for the entire day only to feel dejected since there was no update or information by the officials on the exact time or the reason for the delay. “I wasted my entire day just refreshing the official website and checking my email. I had expected better from NTA,” said a candidate. There are several others who have expressed a similar sentiment on social media platforms.

As per the earlier notice by NTA, the NEET 2022 answer key challenge process will begin today and the last date to submit challenges is expected to be September 2. The NEET 2022 result and the final answer keys will be released on September 7.

How to Download NEET 2022 Answer Keys

Candidates will have to follow the steps below to download the NEET provisional answer keys 2022:

• Visit the official website of NEET 2022 – neet.nta.nic.in

• Click on the link indicating NEET 2022 OMR sheets and NEET 2022 official answer keys

• Log in with NEET 2022 application number and password and date of birth

• Download OMR sheet and set-wise NEET 2022 answer key (provisional).

The fees for challenging both NEET 2022 provisional answer key and the OMR sheet will be INR 200 for each question. NTA has not stated the last date of NEET answer key challenge submission or the procedure yet.

NTA will also conduct a NEET 2022 retest for candidates affected by harassment or mismanagement in terms of question paper distribution in the exam centres of Kerala, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh on September 4.
