JENPAS UG 2026 OBC Class Declaration Notice

JENPAS UG Updates: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has opened online portal for OBC Class declaration for candidates appearing in JENPAS UG 2026. Those who wish to claim 7% reservation benefit under OBC category must complete declaration process at official website.

As per official notification, online portal will remain active till June 19, 2026 (11:59 PM). Eligible candidates can log in using their application credentials and declare their respective OBC Class through official portal.

Declaration Must Match Government-Notified List

Candidates must select their OBC Class as listed in notifications issued by Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of West Bengal. Only those categories included in officially notified list will be eligible to get reservation benefit.

Original OBC Certificate Mandatory

Candidates claiming OBC reservation will have to show original OBC Certificate during counselling, admission and document verification. The certificate must be as per format. The Board has clarified that candidates who fail to present original OBC Certificate during counselling or document verification will lose claimed reservation benefit. In such cases, their candidature will be considered as per applicable admission rules.

OBC Reservation to Follow NCL Rules

The notification further states that applicability of OBC reservation and Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) status during counselling and admission will be governed by latest guidelines issued by Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of West Bengal.
