Previous Year trends of UP CNET
Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University conducts Common Nursing Entrance Test. Going by the past year trends, the application volume has witnessed an upward trend with 1.30 lakh registrations for 2025 and 96% attendance.Â
The exam consists of 120 MCQs around Nursing Aptitude, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. The previous year trend analysis shows increased competition for admissions to B.Sc. Nursing seats. In this exam, the qualifying scores generally remain around 50th percentile for General and 40th for reserved categories.Â
In 2025, general category cutoff is expected around 98+ marks and reserved categories including SC/ST/OBC categories around 88+.
UP CNET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Following are eligibility criteria for UP CNET:
- The minimum age of students should be 17 years on or before December 31, 2026.
- Candidates must pass Class 12 from Science stream with minimum 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- For SC/ST/OBC category, students must have scored 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- English is compulsory subject in Class 11 and Class 12.
- The candidates should be declared medically fit by Medical Board.
How to do registration for UP CNET 2026
Students must follow these steps to register for the exam:
- They must visit official website - abvmuup.edu.in.
- Create an account by using valid email ID and mobile number.
- Fill application form by entering required personal, academic and contact details.
- Upload scanned copies of the documents such as photograph, signature, etc.
- Students can pay fee via debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
- Submit and take a print out for future reference.
