Over 14,000 students to appear for Puducherry Class 12 Exams 2022
Puducherry Class 10 exams will begin on Friday, i.e. May 6, 2022. The Joint Director added that 16,802 candidates would appear for the Class 10 public examination.

Puducherry Plus 2 Exams 2022: Plus-two (Class 12) public examinations are all set to commence today, i.e. May 5, 2022, in Puducherry and Karaikal regions. All arrangements have been made for the Class 12 examination. In an official press note, Joint Director of Education V K Sivagami informed that 14,627 candidates, including 7,655 girls, are expected to appear for the plus two examinations. According to the official schedule, Puducherry Plus 2 examination will conclude on May 28. A total of 15,145 candidates, including 7,812 girls, would appear for the Plus-one (Class 12) public examinations in the two regions commencing on May 10 and ending on May 31.

Puducherry promotes Class 1 to 9 students
Earlier, the Directorate of School Education, Puducherry announced its decision to promote all students of Classes 1 to 9 for the academic year 2021-22. The government released an official notice directing the heads of all private and public schools of Pondicherry and the Karaikal area to ‘pass’ all the students of Classes 1 to 9. In addition, the government also announced its decision on early summer holidays for students of Classes 1 to 9 from April 30, 2022.
In the notice, the government asked schools to prepare the result of all the students as per the promotion criteria (all pass) and submit the same to the respective inspectors. Scorecards will be prepared by schools for these students where marks will be given subject-wise. Schools are also asked to prepare a promotion chart of these students and submit the same for inspection. The deadline for schools to prepare results and submit them to the authority is May 15, 2022.
