Rajasthan Schools, Colleges Reopening: Rajasthan Government deferred the decision to reopen schools and colleges in November. According to the latest reports, the Rajasthan Government announced its decision to keep the schools, colleges and other educational institutes closed in the state. The order includes coaching institutes as well as centres for higher education. The educational institutes in Rajasthan would remain closed until November 30, 2020. The date for reopening would be issued after assessing the situation at the end of the month.
On November 17, Home Secretary NL Meena issued the order, extending the earlier order to keep schools colleges closed from November 16, 2020, to November 30, 2020. The schools and government offices were also ordered closed for November 17, 2020, as a state mourning was announced. According to the Unlock 5.0 guidelines, Rajasthan Government suggested that the schools may be reopened from November 2. Later the order was reversed and the closure of schools and colleges was extended until November 16. After feedback received from various parents, teachers and authorities, the government now decided to extend the lockdown of educational institutions until November 30.
A few days ago, the Department of Education, Rajasthan notified the students that the schools would continue the online classes. They also announced that this year no student would be promoted without assessment. However, there is no update regarding the RBSE 10th and RBSE 12th Board Exams 2021.
