The Bihar School Examination Board has released a notice informing female candidates who appeared in the Bihar STET 2025 examination regarding the amendment of father's name in place of husbands' name in the online application form. The Bihar STET examination was conducted from October 14 to November 16, 2025. Check below for dates and other details.

Bihar STET 2025: Dates for Amendment

As per the official notice, the female candidates who appeared in the Bihar STET examination and mentioned their husband name in place of their fathers' name in the online application form are given an opportunity to amend or mention their father's name in place of their husband's name. Such female candidates can enter their father's name in place of husband's name from November 29 to December 3 by clicking the link available on the official website bsebstet.org and logging in with their User ID and Password. Therefore, the correction will not be valid after December 3, 2025. 

Bihar School Examination Board closed Bihar STET answer key objection window on November 28, 2025. Bihar STET answer key 2025 objection fee was INR 50 per question. However, Board had restricted maximum amount of objection fee to INR 250 in case of more than five questions. That is if a candidate challenges more than five questions then also the system will not charge beyond the upper limit. Earlier, BSEB had announced November 27 as last date to challenge Bihar STET answer key.

Q:   How to Apply for Bihar STET 2026 Exam?
A:

The Bihar School Education Board will release the Bihar STET notification on its official website - secondary.biharboardonline.com. The Bihar STET 2026 applications will start along with the notification. Candidates can apply online in the following manner.

  • Visit the official website of Bihar STET - secondary.biharboardonline.com
  • Click on the tab 'Register new candidate'.
  • Enter the required details.
  • Login to the registered user section and fill out the application form.
  • Upload a scanned copy of the photograph and signature.
  • Proceed to pay the Bihar STET application fee.
  • Submit and save the confirmation page.

The Bihar STET exam is generally conducted once a year. However, the decision regarding the frequency of exam is taken by the exam conducting body, that is, Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB). It is a state-level Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) exam that is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates as Secondary or Higher Secondary level teachers.
