The Bihar STET subjects are different for Paper 1 and Paper 2. The Bihar STET Paper 1 subjects are - Hindi, Urdu, Bangla, Maithili, Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian, Bhojpuri, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education, Music, Fine Arts and Nritya. The Bihar STET Paper 2 subjects are- Hindi, Urdu, English, Sanskrit, Bangla, Maithili, Magahi, Arabic, Persian, Bhojpuri, Pali, Prakrit, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, History, Geography, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Philosophy, Psychology, Home Science, Commerce, Computer Science, Agriculture, Music and Botany. The common subject for Paper 1 and Paper 2 is Pedagogy and Other Skills.

There are 150 questions in the Bihar STET exam. Each for 1 mark.

The Bihar STET exam 2025 was conducted from October 14 to November 16, 2025. The Board conducted the Bihar STET 2025 exam as a Computer-Based Test(CBT). 

Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is expected to release the BSTET 2025 answer key  on its portal bsebbstet.org at 9.50 PM. The Board released a notice on the micro blogging site "X"  that the answer key will be available at 9.50 PM.

The candidates should note that they will be required to pay the objection fee of INR 50 for each question. The candidates can pay this fee onlne only through debit/credit card or online banking.

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) conducts the Bihar Secondary Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) exam to determine the eligibility of candidates as Secondary level teachers and Higher Secondary level teachers in Bihar schools. 

Bihar STET exam is conducted online in computer-based test (CBT) mode. In the exam, candidates need to mark their answers on the allotted computer screens. Candidates need to complete the exam in two hours and thirty minutes.
