BPSC TRE 4 Protest: Students hold demonstration in Patna Demanding 1.2 Lakh Vacancies

BPSC TRE 4 is an important recruitment drive for teaching posts in Bihar, but aspirants claim number of announced vacancies falls short of expectations

Thousands of students flooded streets of Patna today, staging a protest near Gandhi Maidan to demand an increase in vacancies for Bihar Public Service Commission’s Teacher Recruitment Exam (BPSC TRE 4).

Protesting students led by student leader Dilip Kumar are demanding Bihar government to release notification for 1.2 lakh teaching posts by September 15 and ensure certificate verification before exam.

Demand for pre-exam certificate verification stems from concerns over procedural delays and discrepancies in past recruitment cycles.

Another X user, Pushpen writes: “आज हम सभी लोग #BPSC_TRE4 के लिए अपनी मांगों को लेकर सड़क पर उतर रहे हैं। सरकार से निवेदन है कि जल्द से जल्द 1,20,000 सीटों पर वैकेंसी की घोषणा करें।“ NirajKu40157354 writes: “BPSC TRE 4 में 1.20 लाख सीटें और सितंबर में वैकेंसी निकालने की मांग को लेकर आज पटना में विशाल प्रदर्शन। सरकार सुन ले, वरना छात्रों का गुस्सा वोट में दिखेगा! #BPSCTRE4.”
