CDS 1 Exam will be conducted on April 12, 2026. Only candidates who successfully filled application form can appear in the upcoming examination. The Union Public Service Commission will release the admit cards a few days before the exam date on the official portal at upsc.gov.in.

CDS 1 2026 Exam: Preparation Tips

The following are the preparation strategies students must follow to crack the exam:

  • Aspirants should thoroughly go through exam pattern and syllabus before starting preparation.
  • Solve previous year question papers to practice well.
  • Practice mock test to improve the speed and accuracy.
  • Students must keep the fundamentals clear and focus on important topics.
  • They should also work on time management to complete paper on time.

How To Download Admit Card?

Students must carry their admit card to exam centre. To download it they must follow these steps:

  • Go to official website upsc.gov.in.
  • Under 'What's New' Section and Click on 'E-Admit Card CDS Exam 2025' link.
  • The download link will appear in a new page.
  • Read all instructions carefully and then click on Yes button to download the admit card.

CDS admit card comprises important details including candidate's name, date of birth, father's name, roll number, scanned signature photograph and details regarding the reporting time, shift timing and exam centre. UPSC conducts this exam to recruit officers in the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force.

The selection process also includes SSB interview where candidates are tested for their intelligence and personality. There height and weight should be on a standard scale and they must stay confident and do not get nervous during interview.
