Clearing CTET is Must for Teachers to Remain in Service

The Supreme Court of India recently stated that clearing the TET is compulsory for teachers. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon release the notification for the CTET 2025 exam. Candidates will have to submit the application form to appear for the exam. Lakhs of candidates are waiting for the release of CTET exam notification. The board will soon announce the dates for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test.

Supreme Court Ruling on TET

The court had ruled that candidates who want to become teachers, as well as in-service teachers who have not cleared the Teacher Eligibility Test yet, need to appear for the CTET or TET exam and clear it within the next two years. Teachers who fail to clear the TET within two years will have to quit or will have to choose compulsory retirement.

CTET 2025 Notification & Dates

Candidates wait for the release of the CTET 2025 notification and exam date. There is no update from the board regarding the exam as of now. Last year, the exam was held in January, July and December.
