CSIR NET 2026: National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the CSIR NET exam 2026 for the June session on July 17 and 18 at several centres across the country. The examination will be conducted in five subjects namely Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences. Here we are providing some of the important topics of CSIR NET Physical Science that will help in the last minute revision. The questions in the exam will be asked in the form of MCQs. There will be a negative marking of 25% (33% for some parts). CSIR NET Physical Sciences paper consists of 75 MCQs out of which candidates need to attempt 55 questions. Each question in Part A carries two marks marks weightage and each question in Part B and C carries a weightage of 3.5 and five marks, respectively.
