CTET 2026 Notification Expected in November
Central Board of Secondary Education is likely to release CTET notification in November 2025. Once available, candidates can get CTET 2026 notification PDF download link at official website: ctet.nic.in. With CTET exam scheduled for 8 February 2026, it is expected that notification pdf will be released anytime soon by November 10. However, there is no update from CBSE regarding release date of CTET 2026 notification. Along with CTET notification, information bulletin with information on eligibility criteria, exam pattern, application fee, syllabus etc will also be provided.
CTET 2026 Exam Date OUT
This time, Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 12th edition will be conducted on February 8, 2026, in two shifts for Paper 1 and 2. CTET Paper I is held for candidates willing to teach Classes I to V. Whereas, paper II is conducted those targeting Classes VI to VIII. CBSE CTET exam is eligibility criteria for aspirants who want to apply for teacher recruitment in central government schools, such as KVS and NVS, for Classes 1 to 8.

- Go to official website ctet.nic.in
- On homepage, go to public notices
- Click on CTET Notification PDF
- Download and save it
Candidates can check the CTET exam city and date by downloading their pre-admit cards. The CBSE releases the CTET pre-admit card around 10 days before the exam. Candidates can access the CTET pre-admit card or exam city intimation slip by entering their application number and date of birth when it becomes available on the portal. On the other hand, the CTET admit card is released two days before the exam on the official website of the exam - ctet.nic.in informing the candidates about the allotted exam centre.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the CTET exam date 2026. The 21st edition of the CTET exam will be conducted on February 8, 2026. The CBSE CTET Feb 2026 exam will be organised offline in pen and paper mode. The CTET notification 2026 is expected soon.
