The CTET 2026 notification has been reelased. The last date to apply is December 18, 2025. CTET exam is scheduled for February 8, 2026, which will be held in two shifts, Paper I in morning for primary level teaching and Paper II in afternoon for upper primary.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the notification for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) February 2026 session on its official website, ctet.nic.in. This is followed by launch of online application form, providing aspiring teachers with guidelines on eligibility, exam patterns, and submission procedures.

CTET exam is conducted CBSE to select candidates planning to teach Classes 1-8 in central and state government schools, such as Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVS), Navodaya Vidyalayas (NVS), and private schools that consider CTET scores.

Qualifying this test improves employment opportunities in primary (Classes 1-5, Paper I) and upper primary (Classes 6-8, Paper II) jobs.
