India Post GDS recruitment: Application deadline extended

Eligible and interested candidates can submit their applications at India Post GDS recruitment 2023 official website indiapostgdsonline.gov.in from June 16 to June 26, 2023. 

India Post GDS Recruitment 2023: India Post has extended application deadline for recruitment to the posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) for special cycle May 2023. Eligible and interested candidates can submit their applications at India Post GDS recruitment 2023 official website indiapostgdsonline.gov.in from June 16 to June 26, 2023. Earlier, the last date for applying against the notified vacancies other than in the states/divisions of Meghalaya, Sikkim, Tripura and Manipur was June 11, 2023. 

The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 12,828 vacancies The edit/correction window will be open from June 24 to June 26, 2023. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PWD category are not required to pay any fee, whereas all other candidates need to pay INR 100 application fee. The payment can be made by using all recognised credit/debit cards and net banking facility/ UPI. 

Eligibility criteria 

• • Should have passed Class 10th with Mathematics and English from recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/ Union Territories
  •  Should be 18 years and not more than 40 years.
  • Should have knowledge of computer, knowledge of cycling

How to Apply for India Post GDS Recruitment 2023?

Candidates can follow the simple steps given below to apply for India Post GDS Recruitment 2023:

• • • Go to the official website; i.e. indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
    • Click on the 'Registration Tab' where they are required to enter their details such as Mobile Number, Email, Name, Father's Name, Date of Birth, Gender etc.
    • Enter your registration number and select circle
    • An applicant can only apply one or more for vacant posts of GDS in only one of the selected Division one or more
    • Take the print out of the application form

The list of applicants shortlisted for engagement will be released by the Department of Posts on its official website and GDS Online Portal. Applicants are advised to visit the website on regular basis for latest updates.
