The hashtag #LDC_को_नियुक्ति_दो is trending on social media platform X as thousands of candidates selected for Lower Division Clerk (LDC) posts in Rajasthan and Jharkhand demand appointment letters.

The candidates are claiming that despite clearing exams their future remains stuck due to government delays.

Rajasthan

In Rajasthan, results for nearly 4,197 LDC posts were declared five months ago, but appointment letters are yet to be issued. The 2013 recruitment backlog also remains unresolved—over 90 posts are still vacant despite High Court directions. A probe earlier revealed that 277 candidates had secured jobs with fake diplomas and certificates, which further stalled the process.

Jharkhand

Similarly, in Jharkhand, around 218 selected candidates are waiting for joining letters even after the merit list was published. Candidates have submitted memorandums to the government, but official timeline has not been announced so far.

Aspirant Voices

“Every month of delay adds to our financial struggles. We only want what is legally ours.” — Jharkhand aspirant. “We cleared the exam fair and square, yet our appointment is delayed. How long do we have to wait?” — Rajasthan candidate.

On social media, aspirants are mobilising for coordinated campaigns. One organiser posted: “Between 7–9 PM today, all LDC candidates should join the hashtag drive to demand immediate appointments.”

Government Stand

As per the Officials in Rajasthan Govt document verification is still underway. In Jharkhand, authorities have acknowledged receipt of candidate memorandums but have not issued any clear deadline for appointments. Candidates say the protests—both online and offline—will continue until appointment letters are released.
