Recently, CAT ruled in favour of Railways regarding eligibility criteria for recruitment exam. Earlier, petition challenged  inclusion of class 10th pass candidates along with ITI holders. The petitioner argued that short notice released on December 28, 2024, stated only ITI holders were eligible and changing eligibility rules on January 2, 2025, was not right.
