RRB Group D & NTPC Exam Dates to be Announced Shortly: Railway Officials

 RRB Officials have confirmed that the RRB Group and NTPC exam dates will be announced soon. To know complete details on this, read below. 

The wait for RRB Group D and NTPC aspirants is going to end soon as the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) will soon announce the dates of the said exams. In a telephonic conversation with Shiksha, Angaraj Mohan, Executive Director, Railway Board said, “RRB Group D and NTPC exam dates will be announced shortly. As per the advice of the Ministry of Railways, we are about to finalise a private agency for conducting the exam. Once the exam conducting authority is finalized, we will announce the exam dates on the official website.”

“Candidates are advised to visit the official website regularly to get any update regarding RRB Group D and RRB NTPC exams,” Mohan further added. When asked regarding a tentative month of exam, the Executive Director remained silent. Candidates who have applied for the exam are advised to begin their preparation as the exam dates will be announced soon.

The admit cards will be released four days before the scheduled date of the candidate’s CBT. The admit cards will be made available on the respective official websites of RRBs. To download the admit cards, candidates need to enter the required credentials.

RRBs on behalf of Railway Recruitment Cells (RRCs) are conducting RRB Group D exam to recruit candidates to various posts like Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant Pointsman in Level 1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix in various departments of Indian Railways. RRB NTPC exam is conducted to select candidates to Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) graduate and undergraduate posts.

A total of 1,15,67,248 candidates had registered for it Group D Exam and 1,26,30,885 candidates had registered for RRB NTPC.
