RRB JE 2025: Registration Begins; Check Vacancy, Change in Eligibility Criteria, Last Date to Apply

RRB plans to fill around 2,570 vacant posts, which including Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, Chemical Supervisor, and Metallurgical Assistant across Indian Railways.

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has started online registration for RRB Junior Engineer (JE) 2025 recruitment today, October 31, 2025.

Through this recruitment drive RRB plans to fill around 2,570 vacant posts, which including Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, Chemical Supervisor, and Metallurgical Assistant across Indian Railways. The number of vacant posts have also been reduced this year, which was 7951 in 2024.

The online application process will be available on official RRB website, https://rrbcdg.gov.in/, and will remain open until November 30, 2025. Candidates are advised to submit their applications before deadline.

The three years age relaxation given last time has also been removed this time. The official RRB JE notification contains detailed eligibility criteria and medical standards for these posts and candidates should review them carefully before applying. As per the official notification, minimum age is 18 years and maximum age is 33 years, which was 36 last year.

RRB JE 2025 selection process will include stages like Computer Based Test (CBT – 1, CBT – 2), followed by Document Verification, Medical Examination and Final Selection List.
