RRB JE 2025 Vacancies revised and last date to apply extended

New Closing Date for Online Applications is December 10, 2025 and Last Date for Application Fee Payment is December 12, 2025

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have announced 10 day extension to online application deadline for recruitment to posts of Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA).

The new closing date for applications will be December 10, 2025, up to 23:59 hours. The last date for payment of application fees has also been revised to December 12, 2025.

The boards have also increased number of vacancies at Rail Coach Factory (RCF), Kapurthala under RRB Jammu-Srinagar, and Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai under RRB Chennai.

Candidates who have already applied can modify their chosen RRB and preferences for posts, zonal railways, or production units within the selected RRB free of cost between November 25 and December 10, 2025, using their login credentials.

A separate modification window with applicable fees will be open from December 13 to 22, 2025, though changes to account details or the selected RRB will not be permitted during this period. Eligible PwBD candidates requiring a scribe must submit scribe details between December 23 and 27, 2025. 

The RRBs have reiterated that all other terms of the original notification remain unchanged and cautioned candidates against touts, emphasizing that the entire recruitment process is fully computerized and based solely on merit.
