RRB NTPC Short Notice
RRB NTPC CEN 07/2026: Railway Recruitment Boards have issued a short notice for recruitment to various Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Undergraduate posts under Centralised Employment Notification (CEN) No. 07/2026. RRB NTPC UG CEN 07/2026 recruitment drive will fill 1,688 tentative vacancies across RRBs.
As per notice, RRB NTPC UG application 2026 will be conducted online only at official website rrbapply.gov.in. RRB NTPC undergraduate application window is tentatively scheduled to open on October 15, 2026. Last date to submit their RRB NTPC CEN 07/2026 forms until November 13, 2026, up to 11:59 PM.
NTPC UG short notice also specifies that vacancies are for various Undergraduate posts under Pay Level 2 and Pay Level 3 of the 7th Central Pay Commission. The detailed post-wise and RRB-wise vacancy distribution will be provided in detailed RRB NTPC notification 2026.

Aadhaar Verification Advised During RRB NTPC Application
RRBs have advised candidates to verify their primary details through Aadhaar while filling out the online application. The purpose is to reduce inconvenience and delays during the detailed scrutiny stages for applications that are not Aadhaar-verified.
For successful Aadhaar verification, candidates have been advised to ensure that their name and date of birth in Aadhaar exactly match the full name and date of birth mentioned in their Class 10 pass certificate. They should also ensure that their Aadhaar contains their latest photograph and updated biometric details, including fingerprints and iris information, before beginning application.

The age limit prescribed for Graduate level posts has been revised. The revised age limit is 18 to 36 years. Earlier, it was 18 to 33 years.

RRB NTPC cut off is calculated based on the normalised scores. This process is followed to adjust the difficulty level of questions since the exam is conducted in multiple sessions. The scores are normalised using the equi-percentile method. For eg: If the negative marking is 1/3 and candidates have answered 80 questions, out of which 12 were wrong, then the raw score will be 80-12-12 * (1/3) = 64. Therefore, 64 is the raw score.
