SBI Clerk Recruitment 2026: State Bank of India will close online application window for SBI Clerk Recruitment today, August 31, 2026. Eligible candidates who are yet to apply for Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) can submit their SBI Clerk applications at careers portal sbi.bank.in.
SBI has notified a total of 7,680 regular vacancies for Junior Associates under Advertisement CRPD/CR/2026-27/17. In addition, SBI Clerk recruitment notification mentions 1,444 backlog vacancies, taking number of vacancies listed to 9,124. Candidates can apply for SBI Clerk 2026 vacancies in one State/UT only.
SBI Clerk 2026 Application Fee
Candidates belonging to General, OBC and EWS categories have to pay application fee and intimation charges of INR 750. Candidates from SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and Disabled Ex-Servicemen categories are exempted from the application fee.

SBI Clerk 2026 Local Language Requirement
Candidates can apply for vacancies in only one State/UT and must be proficient in the specified local language of the State/UT they select. Proficiency includes ability to read, write, speak and understand the specified language. Those who have not studied the specified language will have to qualify in language test after clearing Main Examination and before joining SBI. Candidates failing this test will not be offered an appointment.
