Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination 2025 tier 1 and Union Public Service Commission Combined Defence Services examination 2 2025 are scheduled to take place on same date on September 14, raising concern among thousands of aspirants who plan to appear for both competitive exams.

SSC CGL 2025 Tier 1 and CDS 2 Exam Date Clash

According to official calendars released by SSC and UPSC, both SSC CGL 2025 Tier 1 and CDS 2 2025 exam are slated to be held on September 14. This overlap has led to discussions on social media.

As of now, neither SSC nor UPSC has released any official statement regarding a possible rescheduling of the CGL or CDS exams. Candidates are advised to check official websites of SSC ssc.nic.in and UPSC upsc.gov.in for any updates or notices.

SSC CGL 2025 Tier 1 Exam Dates

Earlier, Staff Selection Commission released exam dates for SSC CGL 2025. As per revised date, SSC CGL tier 1 exam will be conducted from September 12 to 26, 2025. Earlier, SSC CGL 2025 exam was scheduled to be held in August but it was postponed due to technical issues.

This is not first time such scheduling conflicts have raised concerns. In previous years, SSC has revised its exam schedule multiple times due to clashes with other major recruitment or academic examinations, as well as administrative reasons.
