SSC GD Exam Postpones to Further Notice; Details Below

SSC GD Exam 2026 was all set to be held on February 23, 2026. According to the latest SSC notification, the exam has been postponed till further notice. Read below to know more.

SSC GD 2026 Exam was scheduled to be held on February 23, 2026. Now, as per the latest notification, it is postponed till further notice.
"The Computer Based Examination for Constable (GD) in Central Armed Public Forces (CAPFs) and SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination 2026 which was scheduled from February 23, 2026, onwards in terms of Commission's Notice HQ-EC033/7/2025-EC dated January January 2, 2026, is hereby deferred till further notice. Fresh dates will be announced in due course," read the official notification.
The official release also said that further slot selection facility will not be applicable for the above examination.
The admit card for SSC GD will be released only three days before the exam date of candidates. The exam will be held online as Computer Based Exam. The application closed on December 31, 2025.
SSC GD 2026 exam pattern covers the overall structure of the exam. It includes 80 questions. The subjects included in exam are Elementary Mathematics, General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning, English Language.

• Go to the official website - ssc.gov.in.
• On homepage, click on SSC GD admit card link.
• Login using registration ID and date of birth
• The admit card will be displayed on the screen.
• Download it and take a printout.
