UGC NET 2026 Application Form LIVE: The National Testing Agency is closing the UGC NET application process for the June session on May 20 (up to 11:50 PM) at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The authority has not announced about the extension of the last date of the UGC NET application deadline. Candidates who want to apply and not yet applied can apply by visiting the official website. The application process for the June session was started on April 29. According to the schedule released, the UGC NET application correction dates are May 22 to May 24 (up to 11:50 PM). Those candidates who will successfully filled the NTA UGC NET application form will only be able to make corrections. Who is eligible for UGC NET exam 2026?
Candidates should hold the Masters' degree or equivalent in Humanities, Social Science or Sciences with at least 55% marks and 50% for reserved categories from a recognized university will be eligible to give UGC NET 2026 exam. Final year candidates can also apply or fourth year bachelors' degree holders with 75% marks and PhD holders who completed their Masters before 1991 may also apply for the examination.
