UGC NET 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC NET 2026 notification for the June session on the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in on April 29, 2026. Along with the notification, the UGC NET application form also released. The last date to apply is May 20. The last date to submit the fees is May 20. The application correction window will also open from May 22 to 24. The exam will be conducted online as Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for 85 subjects. Candidates need to go through the eligibility criteria before applying for the UGC NET exam. The exam city will be released by June 10 and admit card by June 15, 2026. Scroll down for more details.

UGC NET 2026 Application Form
NTA has started the UGC NET 2026 application process for the June session at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Candidates who are interested to appear for the June session can apply online from April 29 to May 20 by providing the details including personal and education details, uploading a photo and signature and paying the application fee.

UGC NET exam is considered to be moderate to difficult in the overall difficulty level as per the experts. The syllabus of the exam is vast and a bit challenging to cover for the candidates. In depth subject knowledge is required to crack the examination. Frequent revision also plays an important role. Paper 1 is about the teaching or research aptitude and Paper 2 is focused on specialised subjects.
The NTA released the UGC NET 2026 notification and so the application process dates have been announced for the June session. The application dates are April 29 to May 20, 2026.
To crack UGC NET in two months, you really need to work hard. that to in a right direction. Firstly you need to focus on building your basics strong, and need to solve previous years' question papers. Preparation should be in such a manner that you can revise at least 60 - 70% of the syllabus before the exam (as it is very difficult to read complete syllabus).
