UGC NET 2026 June session first exam on June 22: Check Subject-Wise Exam Schedule and Reporting Time
UGC NET June 2026 exam will begin on June 22 in two shifts. Candidates advised to check their subject-wise schedule, reporting time and admit card details before exam.
UGC NET 2026 June session Exam
UGC NET 2026: National Testing Agency will begin UGC NET June examination from June 22, 2026. As per dates available, computer-based test (CBT) exam will continue till June 30, 2026. Candidates appearing for first day of UGC NET 2026 are advised to check their subject-wise exam date, shift timing, reporting time and exam centre details mentioned on admit card.
UGC NET is conducted for determining eligibility for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as Assistant Professor, appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to PhD and admission to PhD only in Indian universities and colleges.

As per schedule released by NTA, UGC NET June 2026 will be conducted in two shifts every day

Candidates must reach exam centre at least two hours earlier to complete frisking, biometric verification and document checking. Entry will be closed before exam begins and late arrivals will not be permitted.

UGC NET Admit Card Available to Download
NTA has released UGC NET June 2026 admit cards for candidates appearing between June 22 and 30. They must carry a printed copy of admit card along with original photo identity proof to examination centre. They can download UGC NET hall ticket online at official website.
