UGC NET 2026 Re-Exam Tomorrow: Delhi Candidates Get Travel Advisory Ahead of BRICS Summit
UGC NET 2026 candidates appearing for English and Commerce re-exams tomorrow, September 9, 2026, at centres in Delhi have been advised to plan their journey early and allow extra travel time due to traffic restrictions linked to 18th BRICS Summit.
UGC NET 2026 Re-Exam: National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an important advisory for candidates appearing for UGC NET re-exam at centres located in Delhi. The advisory comes ahead of 18th BRICS Summit, which is scheduled to be held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from September 11 to 13, 2026.
Due to upcoming summit, extensive security arrangements are being put in place across national capital. Candidates travelling to their UGC NET 2026 re-exam centres may therefore face traffic congestion, route diversions and delays on certain roads, even though examination centres are not located in areas expected to be directly affected by major restrictions.
NTA advisory is particularly important for candidates scheduled to appear for English and Commerce papers on September 9, 2026, as they have been advised to make suitable travel arrangements in advance.
Why Delhi UGC NET Candidates May Face Traffic Delays?
As per NTA advisory, security arrangements for BRICS Summit may lead to traffic management measures in different parts of city. Delhi Traffic Police and other concerned authorities are expected to impose diversions and restrictions wherever required. UGC NET exam centres 2026 are not situated in areas expected to face major restrictions, traffic movement on connecting routes could still be affected. Candidates may encounter congestion or longer travel times while commuting to their respective examination centres.
